Bang is now officially employed!
After graduating, this summer has been great for giving me a ton of time to do whatever I wanted but also incredibly stressful in finding a job to finally jump start my career. This morning I had an interview for a Quality Engineering position, and I received the job offer this afternoon! Hooray for sweet salary and benefits, as long as I make it past the 3-month evaluation
College has finally paid off, so fellow adults, welcome Bang into the wide world of working long hours and less Aion play time!

Grats. Awesome for ya. Long hours is a subjective term though ;p. I remember my last semesters in college, only 12 credit hours... yeah... that made any kind of normal work day feel really long after I graduated.

Oh, congratulations!! That's absolutely awesome! (well....not the reduced Aion playing time, but definitely the sweet salary and benefit thing...)

Who am I kidding? I work LESS hours now that I'm getting paid vs in college (and I work overtime every week). I think in college, I didn't stop either going to classes, reading, writing, labbing, or IT troubleshooting (my part time job that kept me afloat) until 12:30am at the earliest. I got up at 7am every day. Sadly, I never got the opportunity to get up late in college as I always had 8ams. I guess that's why I wanted to work 2nd shift so bad...

Re: Bang is now officially employed!
Is it strange that a boy's name Artemas is named derived from the name of a female goddess?
Re: Bang is now officially employed!
Artemas means follower of Artemis.. no gender specification there.. as with the goddess Artemis who more times then others preferred to appear before mortals in a form not showing full characteristics of either female or male.
I have always loved Greek mythology and the twin gods Apollo and Artemis have always been my favorites and since Artemis is the goddess of the hunt its only natural i would have her as my namesake. To bad her actual name was taken so i had to go with a second choice..
